Dennis A. Buck, a Certified Hazard Control Manager and Certified Safety Manager, has been honored for Meritorious Service to Safety by the National Safety Council. Mr. Buck has 18 years experience as a PA/OSHA Program Consultant, providing guidance on safety and compliance issues to a wide range of companies. This activity builds on his previous experience in occupational safety and health consulting, during which he conducted over 2,000 on-site surveys of a wide range of industrial sites. He has received extensive OSHA-related training in a wide range of industrial safety areas. |

C. Thomas DeLong, CIH, a Certified Industrial Hygienist, has been employed as an assistant professor and consultant at Indiana University of PA since 1993. He holds a BS in Industrial Safety and Health from the Indiana University of PA and a Master of Science in Public Health (Industrial Hygiene) from the University of North Carolina. A former employee of American Cyanamid Company and Gulf Oil Corporation, Tom has extensive experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, laminate and consumer product operations. Mr. DeLong was a Committee Member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Workplace Environmental Exposure Level from 1993 - 1999 and his current memberships include: American Academy of Industrial Hygiene, American Industrial Hygiene Association, Pittsburgh section, American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists and Indoor Air Quality Association. He has received extensive OSHA-related training in a wide range of industrial safety areas. |

Samuel Gualardo, CSP holds a BS in Safety Management and an MA in Industrial Relations, and has been a member of the PA/OSHA Consultation staff for three years. He also has 20 years experience in private consulting, 5 years as a safety manager at a Fortune 100 manufacturing company, and 12 years managing safety and health functions at Fortune 100 electric and gas utilities. Mr. Gualardo is Past National President of ASSE, and has been honored as Safety Professional of the Year by both Region XI and Central PA Chapter of ASSE. He has taught safety classes, including legal aspects of occupational safety and health, at Indiana University of Pennyslvania and Millersville University. |

Christopher A. Janicak, PhD, CSP, ARM combines practical, educational and research experience in accident prevention. He has a B.S. in Health and Safety Studies with concentration in Occupational Safety and Health Education, an M.S. in Industrial Technology with concentration in Industrial Safety, and a PhD in Research Methodology. He is a Certified Safety Professional (Comprehensive Practice), and an Associate in Risk Management and is also an OSHA Outreach Trainer for the Construction Industry. He is an Associate Professor of Safety at Indiana University and was previously Associate Professor of Occupational Safety and Health at Illinois State University and Assistant Professor of Occupational Safety and Health at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Courses taught have included Systems Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Accident Prevention, Accident Investigation, Occupational Safety and Health and Safety Management.
Previous to pursuing an academic career, Dr. Janicak implemented safety and loss control programs for three Park Districts, and consulted to a wide range of clients including manufacturing and processing plants and government agencies, to assist with employee training, hazard surveys and assisting with safety program implementation. Dr. Janicak is the recipient of numerous honors and awards for services to clients, technical writing, public service, and research. He has been active in numerous professional service positions including four years on the planning committee for Downstate OSHA Days and four years as delegate to the ASSE Professional Development Conference. He also was an Examination Questions Writer for Safety Fundamentals Examination and Comprehensive Examination for the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, and he has been active for several years in local chapter activities of the American Society of Safety Engineers. Dr. Janicak has contributed extensively to the understanding of occupational risks, having analyzed a wide range of factors contributing to such occupational mishaps as electrocutions, forklift rollovers, manufacturing industry fires, worksite pedestrian accidents, head injuries, falls, and occupational motor vehicle accidents; in worksites such as construction, oil and gas drilling, hospitals and manufacturing. He has been concerned with factors including age, race, seasonal variations, employer knowledge of hazard communication standards, and employee training methods. |

Robert Lawless, CHST-CUSA, President and CEO of Client Safety Resources, Inc., is a results-oriented safety professional with a wealth of experience in safety training and administration in a variety of industries. He has had responsibility for training and oversight for hundreds of employees in complex chemical facilities, manufacturing centers, distribution centers, and construction sites. Mr. Lawless was recently selected by the Utilities Division of the National Safety Council to chair the Course Selection Standing Committee for the National Safety Congress held annually. He is certified by the National Safety Council as a safety and health trainer and has served on DuPont's Process Safety Management's Incident Review Committee as well as on the company's Corporate Safety Team. |

Sparten R. Silveri, MS, CSP, CHST has extensive experience with OSHA consultations and instruction. He is Assistant Professor and Safety Supervisor for the Pennsylvania OSHA Consultation Program, supervising a team of safety consultants and reviewing all reports for the program. He also spent six years as Consultant in the program, working with a wide range of industries throughout the state. He has further industry experience as a private consultant to government agencies, insurance companies, construction firms and a construction association; and as Safety Director for private companies where he instituted programs that significantly reduced accident rates.
Mr. Silveri is a Certified Safety Professional, a Certified Construction Health and Safety Trainer, OSHA 501 Compliance Training Instructor, OSHA 500 Construction Training Instructor, and has Competent Person Supervisor Training for trenching and excavations, and has conducted OSHA 500 Construction compliance training for the Construction Industry (29 CFR 1926). He has attended OSHA Training Institute courses #500, #309, #325, #204, #301, #304, #226, #308, #321, #325, #201 and several other courses. |

Robert V. Yancy Jr., holds a BS in Industrial Safety Science from the Indiana University of PA. He has several years experience as an estimator and safety coordinator where his duties included developing and implementing safety and health programs, performing site inspections , performing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for major construction jobs, and training ASI supervisors to conduct their own job sites. |

Steve High, received a B.S. Business Administration from Elizabethtown College, and a M.S. in Safety Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Safety Professional, OSHA authorized instructor for General Industry and Construction Safety, and has taught OSHA courses for many years. |
